Lexington, KY – Brett Construction Company moved into the nation’s top 10 metal builders in 2014, as ranked by Metal Construction News, the nation’s leading news magazine for the metal construction industry. The list ranks the top 100 metal builders in the United States by two segments – square footage of metal constructed and by tonnage of steel purchased. Brett Construction Company ranked #8 by square footage of metal constructed at 755,240 square feet. The firm ranked #25 by tonnage of steel purchased with 1,677 tons. Brett Construction Company is one of only two Kentucky firms to make the list.
“Our first job is always to deliver a quality project that meets and exceeds the goals of our clients,” said Brett Setzer, CEO of Brett Construction Company. “One of our greatest measures of success is that many of our clients are both long-standing and current, partnering with us on multiple projects in multiple locations. Providing quality projects for those clients year after year has allowed us to steadily improve our overall market share in the industry.”
In the Louisville Metro area, Brett Construction Company is currently constructing a new 300,000-SF pre-engineered building with precast walls for a long-term client.
Brett Construction Company works exclusively with Varco Pruden Buildings, a world leader in pre-engineered metal and steel construction systems based in Memphis, Tennessee, that serves a national and international client base.
“Varco Pruden combines high-quality products and an efficient production model,” adds Setzer. “One of the benefits of metal construction is how quickly we can plan and build a facility to have it ready for client use. Varco Pruden’s manufacturing capability helps us meet our clients’ accelerated schedules.”
Brett Construction Company has more than 27 years of commercial construction experience, including industrial, educational, institutional and commercial clients throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States.
