Brett T. Setzer
Chief Executive Officer
Brett has been involved in the construction industry since 1981 when he worked part-time while attending college. His thirty-five years of experience include hands-on training in steel erection, concrete work, roofing, and siding. After gaining field experience, Brett began working with customers to help develop their ideas into working designs. He is currently active in marketing, project estimating, and client coordination during all phases of the construction project. He has been involved in the construction and completion of over 450 projects to date.
With more than 25 years of commercial construction experience, his responsibilities include overall project management, oversight of design and production, scheduling on-site management and overall operations. Prior to joining Brett Construction Co. in 2012, Mr. Boom served as President + CEO of Panattoni Construction, a national design-build construction company for 16 years. During that time the company grew from 5 regional offices to 22 national offices. Under his leadership, the company completed more than 120 million square feet of office, industrial, distribution, and retail space valued at over $3 billion dollars.
Keith is responsible for assisting with preliminary design/coordinating with the clients during all phases of the project. Keith has been with Brett Construction since February of 1999.
Chief Financial Officer
Banks is responsible for oversight of the finance and accounting departments in addition to asset and risk management. He has been with Brett Construction since April of 2006.
Sara’s primary responsibility is overseeing all aspects of accounting: payables, receivables, bank accounts, payroll, and financials. Sara has been with Brett Construction since January of 1985.
Christi’s primary responsibilities are accounts payable, payroll and purchase orders. Christi is responsible for entering all data for purchase orders. She is also responsible for entering all accounts payable invoices and preparing them for payment, as well as maintaining corporate payroll. Christi has been with Brett Construction since January of 2003.
With a masters degree in construction management from Purdue University and a bachelors degree in construction management from Eastern Kentucky University, Dennis joined Brett Construction Company in 2019 and offers more than 10 years of experience leading commercial construction projects. Dennis also offers an exemplary military career background, earning numerous medals and commendations during his service to our country.
Project Manager / Estimator
Dirk’s responsibilities include estimating projects and assisting with the design and coordination of projects with clients. Dirk has been with Brett Construction since August of 2018.
Josh is responsible for negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, agreements, title policies, corporate and other legal documents as well as assessing the legal risks and general counsel on legal matters. He has been with Brett Construction since 2015.
Construction Assistant / Contract Manager
Afsi creates and manages all AIA documents, enters and organizes data and photos during the construction process and coordinates subcontractor scheduling for warranty issues. She is also responsible for updating the website. Afsi has been with Brett Construction since November 2010.
Project Manager / Estimator
Mike is involved with estimating and is responsible for the VP Command system which involves the ordering of metal buildings. He has been with Brett Construction since July of 1995.
Seth has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, is a former U.S. Air Force member, and offers 12 years of commercial construction experience. He joined Brett Construction Company in September 2018. He is responsible for project management, cost estimating, and assisting with project design and coordination.
Cheryl is responsible for overseeing the development of all drawings required for permitting and construction of buildings. She interacts with the sales/estimating department and customers to develop preliminary design sketches. She is also responsible for obtaining local and state permits for construction. Cheryl has over 32 years design experience in wood and steel construction. She has been with Brett Construction since December of 1986.
Megan has degrees in Architectural, Mechanical, and Civil Computer Aided Design Drafting as well as a drafting certificate. She is responsible for developing drawings required for permitting and construction of buildings, including design, revisions, coordinating, copying, distribution and historical records. She is also accountable for required documents for obtaining permits. Megan has been with Brett Construction since May of 2005.
Vice President of Operations
Terry has worked in the construction field for over 28 years. His specialty is concrete and foundations. As the General Superintendent, he is responsible for field operations, safety oversight and crew scheduling. Terry is OSHA trained and First Aid/CPR certified. Terry has been with Brett Construction since 1989.
Assistant Project Manager
Dan is responsible for assisting all project managers as needed. Dan has been with Brett Construction since May of 2018.
Tony’s duties include a variety of clerical and administrative tasks; answering telephones, arranging for meetings, and managing schedules. Tony has been with Brett Construction since September 2018.
