Lexington, KY – Brett Construction Company continues to advance even higher in the nation’s top 10 metal builders, as ranked by Metal Construction News, the nation’s leading news magazine for the metal construction industry. The list ranks the top 100 metal builders in the United States by two segments – square footage of metal constructed and by tonnage of steel purchased.
Brett Construction Company advanced one place from the previous year to become the nation’s #7 largest metal builder by square footage of metal constructed at 1,356,442 square feet in 2015, an annual increase of 44.3 percent. The firm advanced ten places to become the nation’s #15 largest metal builder by tonnage of steel purchased with 2,640 tons in 2015. Brett Construction Company is one of only four Kentucky firms to make the list.
“One of our greatest measures of success is that many of our clients are both long-standing and current,” said Brett Setzer, CEO of Brett Construction Company. “As our clients continue to grow and expand their operations, we are fortunate enough to grow with them. Three years ago, we were among the nation’s top 25 largest metal builders. Today, we’re 7th in the nation in terms of square footage built per year.”
Last year, Brett Construction Company constructed just over 1.35 million square feet of pre-engineered metal building projects. The average building size was 100,000-SF and the largest was a 300,000-SF facility in Louisville, Kentucky.
